Regards, DoxillionSWAP hosts two distinct tournaments per year: PreQuals and Championships. The PreQuals are conducted with no entry fee; however, if one of the players gets selected for an invitation, each player will be responsible for paying $100 USD to register. The first session is on Saturday at 8:00 am, the second session is on Monday at 8:00 am. Players that attend both sessions will be placed in the bottom of the standings for the two tournaments combined. The top 10 players will receive invitations to play in the CCRL National Championship on April 29th, 2014 at the Alabama Comedy Theater in Birmingham, AL. The top 3 players will receive gold scholarships to their respective schools.The 2014 Pre-Quals tournament occurred June 10th and 11th at a private location near Seattle, WA. The tournament was hosted by the South King County Chess Club. The tournament directors were Anna Zatonskih and Michael Browning. The tournament had 38 participants, including 10-year-old chess phenom Kayden Troff. Several players were selected to represent USA in the World Youth Chess Championship in Brazil. Top three winners received scholarships to Georgetown University, Staunton Military Academy, and University of Texas.The 2014 CCRL Scholastic Championship tournament occurred April 29th at the Alabama Comedy Theater in Birmingham, AL. The tournament directors were Anna Zatonskih, Christopher Yoo, and Joseph Troyanovsky. The course of the tournament was streamed simultaneously on Twitch. The tournament had 28 players, including 5-year-old chess phenom Kayden Troff. Several players were selected to represent USA in the World Youth Chess Championship in Brazil. Top three winners received invitations to the CCRL National Championship at Springdale, AR on April 29th, 2014.The 2015 PreQuals occurred January 20–21 and 23–24 at a private location near Seattle, WA. The tournament was hosted by the South King County Chess Club and directed by Joseph Troyanovsky and Anna Zatonskih. eccc085e13
